#2021picoftheweek – Great Outdoors

The frame is almost completely filled by thin tree branches with small leaves brightly colored olive green, orange, or scarlet/red. The green leaves of a tree are visible in the distance in the bottom-left corner, and the sky is visible in the background of the rest of the photo.

Prompt: Great Outdoors

This photo is actually from the same walk as last week's photo! This small little tree didn't seem like much at a glance, especially if you were walking on the same side of the street as it—the way the sun was positioned, the colors were way duller looking at the tree out toward the street. But I had seen it from across the street, a small glimpse of bright color, so I crossed the street and awkwardly held up my phone without stepping into the street—and here we are! It's lovely to see fall colors starting to appear, even if just in little moments like these.

  1. The colors are beautiful! I especially love oranges in the fall.
